The old iTunes muliti-plugin skins from back around iTunes 7.x skins were still possible.
In addition to just the skins, the multi-plugin for iTunes also added a few other options as well.
I understand the original author of that plugin deciding to get away from the plugin getting tired of all the constant updates done with iTunes in order to keep it functional for each new version......but when he did decide to get away from maintaining it, I wish he would have offered the code used for making the plugin so another coder could continue to update it from iTunes 7.x to 9.x so it would be usable now.
Although the last 7.x version that could still use it, can work on Windows XP, but is iffy at best for using on either Vista or 7. Likewise, if you have a modern iPod or iPhone 3gs or 4, then iTunes 7.x simply won't work.
I know that hacking XP, Vista, or 7 could skin to look like Leopard, for those who prefer and like the look of XP, Vista, or 7, there is no way to make the current iTunes 9.x to look like that.
I wish someone would either mod the necessary iTunes files to skin it like that or take the old multi-plugin and reverse engineer it so that it could work with iTunes again.
